Dr. Zeichner recommends that before using a derma roller at home you make sure you have fully cleansed your skin. It is important to remove any dirt, oil, and makeup to give the most effective treatment.
How often can you use a derma roller on your face?
2-3 times a week
While you can safely use your dermaroller 2-3 times a week (warning: this applies only if needles are 0.1mm and smaller) we found that one time per week with a high quality serum is ideal.
Can we use derma roller daily on face?
Can I use my derma roller everyday? Yes if you are using a 0.3mm derma roller or shorter. 0.5mm derma rollers or longer should never be used daily. Using any size of dermaroller daily can lead to very dry skin.
