What did Jagers do?
Jager can help his team create a defensive stronghold before roaming the map to intercept flanking attackers. He is capable of destroying incoming projectiles due to his unique deployable gadget : the Active Defense System or ADS.
How many Landsknechts were there?
Note the huge Zweihänder sword over his shoulder, and the smaller Katzbalger sword at his hip, both emblematic of the Landsknecht. The regiments often expanded from 4,000 to 10,000 men according to circumstances, or even larger, e.g. the 12,000 Landknechts raised by Frundsberg in 1526 for his campaign in Italy.
What is a German Jager Division?
The Jäger divisions were more heavily equipped than mountain division, but not as well armed as a larger infantry division. In the early stages of the war, they were the interface divisions fighting in rough terrain and foothills as well as urban areas, between the mountains and the plains.

Why did Landsknechts dress like that?
Landsknechts were exempt from the ‘sumptuary laws’ that dictated the colours and style of clothing each social class could wear. Maximilian granted his soldiers this privilege because, in his words, their lives were “so short and brutish.” As a result, landsknechts dressed in the most garish costumes they could devise.
What Armor did landsknecht use?
As one of the backbones of a Landsknecht army, the pikemen wielded 14 to 18 foot long pikes to keep the enemy’s heavy cavalry at bay. The job of a pikeman was to create a hedge of pikes to either protect a position or support a push into the enemy.
Can ADS destroy EMP?
Thatcher (Hard Counter): while an ADS can destroy an EMP Grenade, the counter works both ways; if detonated nearby, such as on the other side of a wall or window—the most common placements for Jager’s gadgets—it will be destroyed.
