You need to take this off to get enough room to access the o2 sensor. 2) the green clip on the wiring harness is a little tricky to take off if you have not done it before. There is a similar blue clip near the serpentine belt that is easy to get to. Practice a few times on that one before you try the one that holds the o2 sensor wiring harness.

Where is Bank 1 sensor on Honda Pilot?
My wife’s 2005 Pilot is getting the P2237 code, bank 1 sensor 1. I reset the code, it came back. I gave it a little Italian tune-up today and we’ll see if that helped it. If not, I have researched that sensor I need to replace is the one of the back manifold next to the firewall, but I want to make sure I order the right part. Thanks in advance!
What’s the difference between front and rear O2 sensors?
The sensors look the same and must have to meter the a/f the same since it’s just a different bank. The only visual difference was the front sensor has heat shielding around the wiring harness. The front (bank two) is pretty straight forward. The rear was a bit trickier.
