IB emphasizes a lot of reading and writing skills. IB also has a very well rounded curriculum with projects, papers, presentations. As a freshman, I was ready for the workload of college classes. I also was very prepared for the different types of assignments and group work.

My experience with IB has been great, my teachers (for the most part) are wonderful and well trained, and I genuinely think I learn just as much in my classes as from the other students in IB. I am confident that IB is preparing me for college, and although it is tough, I truly think IB is worth the effort.

Can you do IB online?
You can’t get an IB Diploma online yet because you are not able to complete all the requirements for an IB Diploma online. No science classes are offered online, and you must take at least one science class to get your Diploma.
Is IB difficult?
You will also need to write an Extended Essay (EE), participate in Theory of Knowledge (ToK) and indulge in Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS). IB is one of the most demanding courses that one can attend for their high school. The intensity of IB is one of the factors which makes it appear ‘difficult’.
