There is a charge to enter the gardens and grounds. £6.00 per car or £1.00 per walker or cyclist. We have to raise funds to preserve and operate the Abbey so our income comes from these important admission fees. The abbey only open at the weekends at present, well worth a visit.

How do you get into Newstead Abbey for free?
You enter Newstead Abbey up a long winding access road through a dramatic entrance on the main A60 road. The parkland and gardens are free to visit, but you do have to pay a car park charge. The Car parks are located at the end of the long drive.
