Why does my radiator make a gurgling noise?
If any of the hoses that attach to the coolant system crack or disconnect you might see steam and hear high pressure steam hissing from the radiator hose or a gurgling sound coming from the coolant reservoir telling you that there is something wrong with the engine cooling system.
Why is coolant coming out of my radiator?
When pressure begins to build in the cooling system, coolant will be forced out much like a spray nozzle from a water hose. While this can happen from any number of cooling system components, it is very common for the upper plastic tank on the radiator to crack and only spray when it is pressurized.
What to do if your Radiator makes a bubbling sound?
Try replacing the radiator cap first. Sounds like you need a new pressure cap. Trace the little hose from the plastic reservoir tank to the silver pressure cap where the top radiator hose and thermostat housing all meet on the engine. Its a five dollar part at any auto parts store. Make sure engine is cold before removing cap.
Why is there smoke coming out of my radiator?
Yep, your radiator might have spring a leak or a hose is busted. The smoke was steam from the coolant. Some also splashed on a hot engine and turned into steam. Take it a good shop and let the check your cooling system.

Why does my car make a bubbling noise when I shut it off?
When I shut off the car, I can hear a bubbling/boiling/etc noise coming from under the hood. I popped open the hood and I’m quite sure it’s coming from the plastic tank one would fill with coolant.
