Is the engine block heater on a 2010 Honda Civic?
Oddly, it seems that some sites of questionable repute seem to be selling a “2010 civic engine block heater.” It seems that Honda has this feature on some civics, but those are either Si or Hybrid. Mine is neither of those two.

I was living in Kansas at the time and pre-heating the engine seemed to help with mileage an time until heat available on very cold mornings. On the 2009 HCH there is a plug screwed into the back of the block just below the head, on the passenger side. unscrew the plu and replace with the heater.

Psrs! have the same problem? The block heater is located int he side of the engine block you must remove the plug to install it. Where is the block heater on a Honda K20?
The install on the R18 is fairly simple, the drain plug you have to remove is on the front of the motor. I just installed a block heater on the K20 in my ’09 Si and it was awful… the bung for the heating element is on the back of the engine and really high, above the oil filter!
