What is Imron?

Can you clear coat over Imron?
yes you could. Your Imron would need to be a solid color, not a metallic, and like vega1 said, collision repair shops have been clearcoating over factory paint for years, after proper prep. With that being said, I too would look at a light sanding and buffing before going to all the work to clearcoat the whole truck.
