How do I study myself for AP?

What counts as an AP course?
Advanced Placement or “AP” classes are college-level courses offered to high school students. These classes are offered in a wide range of subjects, such as Biology, English Literature and U.S. History. Each AP class concludes with an AP exam that measures your mastery of the material you studied during the semester.
How many years is an AP course?
All AP coursed are designed to be one-year courses. High schools may seek AP authorisation of their courses, undergoing an audit process – this allows the use of the AP designation on students’ transcripts.
Is AP course hard?
Some are harder than others, though your experience will depend on your personal strengths. In general, all AP classes are challenging and the exams are difficult, since they’re meant to be at the same level of an introductory college class.
Is AP needed to get into college?
Will Colleges Look at AP Scores for Admissions? Typically, AP scores don’t go on your college application. Because they don’t count towards your GPA or become a part of your transcript, there isn’t actually any place on the application where they are required.
What grades can you take AP classes?
Students can take AP courses and exams as early as 9th grade, but this is rarely recommended. Certain AP subjects, such as European History and World History, are great choices for 10th graders, but most AP classes are best suited to high school juniors and seniors.
What AP scores do Ivy Leagues accept?
It is a fact that six out of the eight Ivy League colleges give college credit for AP exams in which students have scored at least a four, or in some cases, the score must be a five. While the AP credit policies vary from school to school, they can also vary from department to department within a school.
