Do I need to book to visit? You can book your tickets in advance for Home Farm or pay on the day. Tours take place on the hour and tickets can be purchased on the day only from the Courtyard Shop. We do not offer a pre-booking service for Temple Newsam Tearooms.

Can you walk around Temple Newsam for free?
You will be happy to know that there is no charge to walk around the grounds of Temple Newsam. The only charge is for parking inthe top car park next to the house. There are 2 other car parks as you come in through th gate lodge houses, one to the right one to the left, near the farm. They are free!

The Tea Rooms are now open and we continue to offer a take-away service, in addition to both indoor and outdoor seating. The Spring Summer menu is available with locally sourced food and drinks, including a vegetarian and vegan range.

Designated disabled bays are available in every car park. The house car park provides level access to Temple Newsam House. Access from the other car parks to the house is by gradual uphill pathways. Dogs are welcome to all areas of Temple Newsam except the house, Home Farm and the café.
