How does the SolaX app work?
The SolaX Portal is an online monitoring platform enabling you to monitor your inverter around the clock. Our inverters upload operational data to the Xcloud* via WiFi. Xcloud collects and processes that data every 5 minutes.
Are SolaX inverters good?
While SolaX is generally not considered as reliable as SMA, Fronius, or ABB inverters, they do have a lower price point and their multimode inverters appear to be one of the lower cost methods of installing some types of batteries with backup or off-grid capability.
How do you reset a SolaX inverter?
To reboot your SolaX solar inverter please follow these steps:
- Turn OFF the solar supply main switch (or inverter AC isolator if present).
- Turn OFF the PV array DC isolator.
- Wait for the inverter screen to go completely blank and the red fault light to turn off.
- Turn ON the PV array DC isolator.

The signup form is quite straightforward, however, one thing to note here is the ‘Registration Number’. This can be either be found on the side of the SolaX Pocket Wi-Fi box that the dongle came in, or alternatively by using a Wi-Fi enabled device and finding the list of available networks in the area.
