What was the problem with the Hoover v belt?
The v belt in this set was faulty. It kept sliding off the bearing guide when the roller was disengaged and would stay off the guide when engaged causing rubber dust to be randomly deposited back on to the carpet. When troubleshooting the problem with the plastic shield on the bottom removed,the belt began to smoke.
Where do you put the belt on a Hoover?
Great service! You will need to put the small belt on its inner wheel first, without putting it over the agitator brush, and then put the big one on both of its wheels. Finally, put the small belt around its agitator brush and put the brush into its compartment.
