Minimum Grades for Good Academic Standing All students enrolled in credit courses at North Central Texas College, whether on a full-time or part-time basis, must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average GPA of at least 2.0 to remain in Good Academic Standing.

Students must be college-ready as evidenced by TSIA2 (Texas Success Initiative Assessment) scores, if pursuing academic courses, and have a high school GPA of “C” or higher. To remain eligible, students must maintain a “C” or higher in each dual credit course.
