What is a Lantra qualification?

Can I use the Lantra logo?
The Lantra Logo eg ‘Lantra approved’ should not be used by those companies who are registered solely on the Schedule of Suppliers. These logos are issued to Lantra approved Training Instructors and Lantra approved Training Providers ie those who deliver Lantra training.

The blue FISS CSCS or CSCS card is for skilled installers or skilled workers. The blue FISS course requires the applicant to complete the Level 2 Diploma in Fencing, which involves a number of on-site assessment.

How long does a T1 t2 last?
Once you have completed the 12D T1/2 training course you can obtain the full operative status (TM card) by completing a set of on and off site assessments as prescribed in the sector scheme document. The assessments must be completed within a two year period starting from the date of attending the training.
How long does a Lantra card last?
You should allow 20 working days (from our receipt of order from the Provider) for the Lantra card update process. The life expectancy of the NHSS 12 ONE Smartcard is now 10 years as opposed to 5 years. Your skills will have their own unique expiry date which you must check.
