How do I adjust my LC2i audio control?
How to setup AccuBASS on the LC2i
- Turn the AccuBASS Threshold all the way to the left.
- Set the AccuBASS Level knob at the 12 O’clock position.
- Start playing music that is familiar and/or has a lot of bass.
- Slowly turn the volume up on the head unit until the bass starts to drop out (roll off)
What does LC2i maximize mean?
The Maximized light on the LC2i is a warning for when distorted signal is sent to the outputs of the device. When the light is blinking or solid, this is the indicator that the signal is distorting going out of the unit.
What does the LC2i do?
The LC2i, is a compact, two-channel processor with active input circuitry, which allows it to accept speaker-level signals of up to 400 watts per channel from factory-installed source units or amplifiers. Users can enjoy maximum sound quality while maintaining the use of factory volume and steering wheel controls.
What is the difference between LC7i and LC2i?
The main difference is that the LC2i has two channels and the LC7i has 6.
What is the difference between LC6i and LC7i?
The LC6i is a basic active line output converter with signal summing. The LC7i takes these basic features and adds AccuBASS as well as the ability to turn signal sensing and AutoMode (automatically generated sub signal when no signal present on channel 3) off.
What is AccuBASS?
AccuBass is a feature that restores bass frequencies on a factory system that rolls off the bass as you increase the volume. If you can hear that the bass does not increase as you continue to turn up the volume on the head unit then your factory system is most likely rolling off bass.
Does an LOC need power?
To do this the LOC must be hooked up to 12v+ and Ground to supply the current necessary to power the turn on circuitry and create a reliable remote signal. Some vehicle’s, like post 2000 Chevy’s, may need a powered Hi/Lo since many of them don’t have an accessory circuit behind the radio.
