What does non-matriculated student mean?
A non-matriculated student is one who has not yet been accepted for admission to the College or has lost matriculated status by not enrolling in coursework for one term. Courses taken by a non-matriculated student may later count toward a degree, however, the student will not be eligible for financial aid.
Can you take classes at UW after you graduate?

Can non degree credits be transferred?
Yes, pending departmental approval and as long as you receive the appropriate grades. You should also check with your department to see what their policy is on transfer of credits from this status. It is your responsibility to make sure that your courses will transfer.

What does nm class mean?
What does a NM (No Mark) mean? A NM may indicate that an assignment has not been turned in, passed a quiz or a test, have not completed all of the work for a class, and/or learned an essential concept or skill. How long does it take for UW to send diploma?
When will I receive my diploma? Your diploma will arrive about three to four months after your degree is granted. It will be mailed to your designated mailing address, so be sure to keep that up to date through MyUW.
Why does it take so long to get your diploma after graduation?
Each student’s records are checked by their school to make sure they have completed all of their degree requirements. After these records are verified, diplomas are ordered. The diplomas take a while to process because they require special printing.
Is UW a quarter or semester?
The UW awards quarter credit. To convert semester to quarter credits, multiply by 1.5.
How long is a quarter in UW?
There are three quarters in the academic year (autumn, winter, and spring), plus summer quarter if you wish to attend then as well. Courses you register for last only one quarter (normally 10 weeks plus finals).
