What is the difference between Socra and Acrp?
As for certification, SOCRA is different than ACRP in its approach. Instead of offering separate certification for clinical research coordinator (CRC) and clinical research associate (CRA), SOCRA offers one certification for both. This is called certified clinical research professional (CCRP).
How do you become a certified clinical research associate?

- Complete 3,000 hours performing essential job duties or 1,500 hours of equivalent work experience requirements through ACRP certifications or approved clinical research degree programs accredited by the Council for Higher Education.

What is the highest score you can get on the ACRP exam?

All candidates must achieve a score of 600 or greater in order to have demonstrated sufficient knowledge and skill to pass the exam and become certified.
How long does ACRP certification last?

Keep your designation current and continue demonstrating your competence through the Maintenance of Certification program. To maintain your credential you are required to participate in continuing education/involvement activities and report 24 contact hours/points every 2 years, or take the current Certification exam.
How many questions are on the ACRP exam?

The ACRP exam consists of 125 multiple-choice questions (25 of these questions are pre-test items, do not affect a candidate’s score and are not identified to candidates). Each candidate is allowed a maximum of three (3) hours to complete the 125 questions.
