Why are my Honda CRV front strut boots cracking?
It is the twisting action of turning right and left that rips the boots, they are suppose to slip on the strut on turns. I would suspect the ice build up at the bottom of the strut boots bond them to the strut, so when you steer right and left it rips the boots.
