Get a new battery in the fob regardless then put it in the barrel and turn the ignition on (dut don’t start it) then alternately press lock/unlock half a dozen times each. That will often sort it. If not it’s to the dealer for a re-code! EDIT: for spooling, cold fingers! Central Locking working, just not remotely!

When to press the lock button on a key fob?

Within the time span of 5 seconds of hearing the door lock noise, you should press the ‘lock’ option of the key fob to reprogram key fobs. Further, if you have additional remotes, you can press their lock button within 10 seconds after hearing the door lock noise.
