De Effteling is a great place for kids but also for adults. I am not a big fan of thrilling rides, but there is something for everyone. Take your most comfortable walking shoes, it is a big place and very busy. Very enjoyable though for all ages.

How expensive is efteling?
As of 2018, Efteling tickets cost around 40 euros for adults, however it’s fairly easy to find discounts. If you purchase your tickets in advance online, you’re likely to save some euros although if you can wait to visit Efteling in winter, you’ll save even more. (The park is open 365 days per year!)
How do I get to Efteling UK?
To get to the Efteling Hotel: You need to take the 300/301/302 bus from ‘s-Hertogenbosch, not Tilburg. This will drop you off at Horst which is a couple of minutes’ walk from the hotel. Bus number 136 also goes to Efteling, but takes a fair bit longer than the 300, which is an express service.

How busy is Efteling?
Crowds are considered normal during the weeks and high during the weekend. Then the Summer holiday starts that will last until late August. That’s not a good time to visit Efteling if you want low crowds, July and August are the busiest months. September until mid October is usually quiet.

Spring start with Fairytale Tree in the Fairytale Forest. From 1 April onwards, Efteling will be open every day of the year. For the first time in the theme park’s 58-year history, it will no longer close after the autumn or winter holidays, but will remain open all year round.
