Do you get locked out of mythic raids?
Mythic difficulty’s lockout works differently from the other raiding difficulties (Raid Finder, Normal, Heroic). In Mythic difficulty, you are bound to the raid ID. If you leave the raid group and later decide to return to the raid dungeon in the same week, you’ll be returned to the same raid ID.

Why was mythic raid locked?
You just can’t go join another group to continue Mythic. Even if all you do is join a group that already killed at least 1 boss and you click on “Accept” as you enter the raid, you will be locked, regardless of if you kill a boss yourself.
What happens if you fail Mythic?
Mythic keystones will downgrade if the dungeon is not completed within the timer or if the character who used the keystone leaves the dungeon: If you complete the dungeon but don’t make the timer, you’ll get a Keystone for a random dungeon that is 1 level lower than the one used.
