Why is my Honda Civic not heating up?
I HAVE A 09 HONDA CIVIC 2.2 CTDI WITH A LACK OF HEAT FROM THE BLOWERS IN COLD WEATHER I am having issues with the time it takes for the car to heat up. After conectiong my phone to the ECU I have found my civic will warm up from 10 to 50 Degrees C in 3 minutes as long as the revs are at 2000rmp or less.
How long does it take a Honda Civic heater to warm up?
After conectiong my phone to the ECU I have found my civic will warm up from 10 to 50 Degrees C in 3 minutes as long as the revs are at 2000rmp or less. If I take the revs to 3000 the temperature can go from 70 to 50-40 in 30 seconds. I have changed the thermostat and checked levels etc. but I have not yet resolved the issue.
How often should I replace my Honda Civic heating system?
If the core is still blocked, replace it. Running the heating system at least once a month for 10 minutes, especially in winter, will preserve the system by preventing the hoses from getting dried or cracked.
What should I put in my Honda Civic heater?
Fill the radiator with 50/50 antifreeze coolant until you see coolant spouting from the bleeder valve. Fasten the bleeder valve, and top off the radiator with coolant. With the radiator cap off, start the engine and set the heater to its maximum setting.
Why is the heater not working on my Honda Civic?

Not having a functioning heater makes driving much less comfortable, and can be a sign of certain issues. At the simplest level, there are two main reasons why the heater is not working.
