What makes a clicking sound under the steering wheel?
I have a 2006 that has started making a clicking electrical sounding noise under and to the right of the steering wheel in the dash area. The sound continues even when I turn off the air. One time it continued after I had turned the van off. Any suggestions? I have a similar noise.

Turning the air completely on/off seems to make no difference, nor does turning the steering wheel or adjusting the tilt on the steering column. It’s also not related to engine RPM.

Is there a clicking sound under the dash?
Click to expand… It does sound a lot like that. Get down low and look under the dash, just above the gas pedal and you will see the box and the levers etc. attached to it. I could see the levers moving and hear the sound. When mine is making the noise, I can make it stop by adjusting the temperature knob.
