What material is porvair?
Our core materials are: Sinterflo® sintered porous metal materials – mainly sintered porous stainless steel and bronze materials, sintered metal fibre and multi-layer stainless steel meshes. Vyon® sintered porous plastic materials – mainly sintered porous polyethylene and polypropylene materials.
What does porvair do?
Porvair is a specialist filtration and environmental technology group with three operating divisions – Aerospace & Industrial, Laboratory and Metal Melt Quality. We have operations in the UK, US, Germany, the Netherlands and China.
What is Vyon F?
Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) Vyon® is a dense polyethylene with significantly higher molecular weight when compared to HDPE. Vyon® products, manufactured from UHMWPE have excellent tensile strength, superior chemical resistance and a smooth surface finish.
What is porvair leather?
Porvair PU split leather is special natural leather what is covered with special breathing PU layer what give to leather water-, chemicals-, petrol products resistance surface with easy clean possibilitie.
Is there a breathable plastic?
Porous plastic defined The simplest definition of porous plastic is a breathable, versatile material that’s used in a lot of different products. The complex definition is a bit more scientific. Engineers fuse particles together to create a breathable microporous structure.
What is a breathable plastic?
Vyon® breathable plastic sheet is manufactured from sintered high density polyethylene (HDPE) sheet and is commonly used in the food and pharmaceutical applications. It is porous when used on either side and has a uniform pore structure giving an even total area fluidisation.

What is PE breathable film?
Products. Devoted to Innovation. Cast PE Breathable Film. Breathable (Micro porous) films are formed with micro pores that enable water vapor molecules and air to pass through, yet it restricts liquid flow. Micro porous films are used extensively in hygiene industry as the back sheet layer of modern baby diaper.
Is PE film breathable?
Polyethylene is a widely used polymer, especially linear low-density polyethylene due to its excellent breathable properties and low price; however, low degradation of polyethylene is still a concern.
Is PE breathable?
Many fabrics are “breathable” to different degrees, meaning they allow moisture, including that evaporated sweat, to escape. Polyethylene, the material used to make plastic wrap, lets infrared radiation pass right through, but it’s also transparent and holds in moisture.
What is breathable plastic film?
Breathable films are thin, microporous or monolithic films that are impervious to liquids (water/blood) but permeable to gases (water vapors). Breathable films have various applications in hygiene products such as disposable baby diapers, disposable sanitary napkins, and disposable adult diapers.
