Why are the lights on my car stereo flickering?
After perfect functioning of this stereo for six months, I am now experiencing intermittent flickering of the car stereo LED lights while I drive. Often times, it seems as if the lights dim when I step on the gas, and return to standard brightness when I let off of the accelerator. Sometimes it just seems random.

2005 LJ – Similar problem. Factory Radio would “pop“ and turn off then dash lights and radio lights would flicker. Happened over and over again. After reading this thread popped hood. Checked battery with multimeter and it was good. Started engine and alternator charge function was good.

Are there any flickering lights on the odometer?
The only lights flickering were the odo, trip, and radio from what i seen while it lasted (maybe 10 sec) and it stopped. I turned the car off waited a few started it back up, turned on every acc possible and it was fine. I checked the battery, alt, all the fuses and relays and reset the pcm and everything has the right voltage and looks normal.
