Why does the IGN fuse keep blowing out?
Been having some trouble the last few days and yesterday it wouldn’t start and all i could hear was buzzing so tried a boost and it ran fine and a few hrs later tird it again and it wouldn’t go on a boost. Now im seeing that when i turn the key the ign fuse is burnning out?
What does a blown fuse on a car mean?
A blown fuse always points to a wire shorting to ground. Check closely, and get a good meter to check continuity and grounds. It will become your most effective tool in troubleshooting.
What’s the ignition fuse on a Honda 10A?
10A is the ignition fuse. Same thing happened to me couple months ago and I have the same model and year. Kept blowing the ignition fuse, no FI light, no fuel pump, etc. Checked all the wiring, good.
Why does my IACV make a buzz sound when I turn the key?
Not really, they’re sealed just like the PGM unit. It should only click not buzz, so maybe thats it. The IACV also makes a buzz sound when you first turn on the key, its right on the throttle body and has 2 torx type screws,sort of oval shaped with a connector going into it.
What causes the fuse to fail when I turn the key to the start?
If the WHITE wire coming off terminal “S” is shorted anywhere between the ignition switch and the clutch/brake switch and the attachment clutch and solenoid it will cause the fuse to open/fail or if “clutch/brake switch or “attachment switch is shorted it will cause the fuse to fail/open whenever the key is turned to the start position.
Why does my lawn mower keep blowing the fuse?
So every time I turned the key to start mower it blew the fuse. I got a switch with same prong letters in same place on them an problem solved. First make sure the battery is fully charged.
