What happens when I loose the chime on my Sierra?
Yes factory radio. The rear speakers work, when I loose the chime both front speakers do not work, when I regain chime the left front works along with the rear but right door speaker dead. Gremlins ???

The start up chime is usually the seat belt alarm…The usual fix for that is unplug the connector under the seat but that may also disable the airbags. Where does the chime sound come from on a Sierra?
Pull the head unit and check the connections on the back of it. I believe the chime sound comes through the drivers side speaker so maybe it is just that speaker that is blown.
Why did my warning chime quit working on my Sierra?

The seat belt, door open, key in ignition chime or warning is actually a self contained “module” (like it’s not something small like a flasher relay) and just maybe this thing has gone bonkers …it’s in it’s death throes. Next time it goes off, see (actaully “hear”) where it’s coming from.
