Sansui still produced some receivers; however, they were used as the main unit among low end component systems. The typical Sansui receivers in this era were R Series. In the late 1980’s, the whole industry started producing mini component systems.

Are Sansui turntables good?
Some of Sansui’s top-of-the-line turntables back in the early 80’s are excellent pieces of machinery. Techmoan on YouTube has a Sansui XR-Q7 and did a quick review on it and I must say that it’s very nice. There’s also the coveted SR-939 model as well.

Although the brand Sansui is a famous brand the TV’s are cheaper but as far as the picture quality in comparison to Samsung,LG and Sony is concerned is not up to the mark. It lags there and after sale service also lags.

Picture quality OK, colours and clarity acceptable but inferior contrast. Though it’s a 4K tv the picture quality seems inferior to my 2 year old Samsung 55″ which is in the living room. Also the remote is really difficult to use to select an item when using the smart TV function. All in all you get what you pay for.
