Kagome was never a half demon. She was a full fledged human. The complete series is somewhat about how a HUMAN girl (Kagome) changes a half demon (Inuyasha) who is arrogant, rude, unaccustomed to a normal and loving life. It has never been mentioned nor shown that Kagome was a demon.
