Why does my Honda CRV have a black screen?
I took a video to show the Honda dealer maintenance rep (who claimed that he had never heard of this problem before). They replaced the audio unit and it seemed to to better for a short time until the screen and radio failed completely (just a black screen).

I have 2014 Honda CRV EX-L with navigation and it was working fine till 2019 january. The navigation screen has completely blacked out and i have tried holding volume button for 20 secs or more for may be 20-30 times but nothing worked.
Is there a problem with the Honda CRV display?
Was able to capture in person at the dealer and they replaced the display in 2018. But it later started the same flashing and cycling again even with the new unit. Caught it on video and brought back to dealer, who researched and in March 2019 said there was a tech line bulletin on it, but there was no known fix yet.

My 08 Honda CRV sat nav screen went black soon after a burning smell, was told by Honda dealer that they don’t repair sat nav units and that it would cost £5000 for a new one!! Found a local guy who repairs these units and he repaired it for £50. He said that an inline fuse had gone.

Why is the center screen on my Honda Pilot black?
Just the big center touchscreen is blacked out, so no radio or navigation is possible. Nothing. Late in the afternoon I call the local Honda dealer where I bought it, and miraculously they haven’t gone home yet or left early due to Thanksgiving break.
