2014 Honda CRV does not have in interior release button to open the trunk from the driver’s seat (aside from the child safety release all the way in the back of the car near the trunk). when the hatch sticks in winter months, i have to climb into the hatch and release it. VERY ANNOYING.

How do you open the rear hatch on a Honda CRV?
Press the unlock button from the inside, by doing so all doors will unlock and anybody without the fob can open all the doors including the rear hatch. (fob hatch button will only unlock the rear hatch). The only downside for this is it will unlock all doors.

How do you open the tailgate on a Honda CRV?
Your answer is hidden in Fishy’s first link, on page 632 of that pdf file. There’s a little square cover on the bottom of the hatchback door. You have to take off that cover and take a screwdriver and jimmy it around inside, and then it should open. Wait for Fishy’s video. I’m sure it will be around shortly.
