Why do I get fault code 7781 after battery replacement?

Possible just an old fault left over with the old battery or because the battery has not been coded into the car and the car still thinks it’s using the old battery. pretty sure once coded in, the fault will clear. 7781 I think relates to a low voltage, so perhaps when the old battery was still in use the fault code was stored.

There is conflicting information, some people saying yes, and other information stating the car eventually learns a new battery has been fitted.
