Seen several leak from the drivers side (Right) plastic cover below the rear window into the trunk..it will also leak into the rear sam that will cause electrical gremlins

In our case the source of the water leak is on the left side of lid opening between the rubber seal and the outer part of the quarter panel.

I attempted to remove the rear license plate panel to reveal what lies behind the joint, if the seal is broken etc., but could’nt remove it for the fear of breaking something.
Where is the big water leak in the passenger side?
Woke up this morning to a very big puddle of water in the passenger side front footwell. There was also a big puddle in the trunk, again only the passenger side. I tried to follow the water trail down the passenger side but it seems to have missed the passenger side rear seats so not sure if they are both linked.

Could be a number of things; if you are sure it’s oil, not brake fluid, and the oil is coming from right behind the wheel, it could very likely be a worn oil seal on your wheel hub, and the oil is coming from your axle. Remove the wheel and check the hub for leaking; the seal is easy and cheap to replace.

Where does the water come from in a Mercedes?
The water comes in there runs toward real of car and down on the left rear inside. Then comes down along the left floor area and drips down inside to the compartment of spare tire. I still have not fixed but hope to tonight.
