Do Infinity characters work on all consoles?
Infinity Bases are completely forward and backward compatible, but not interchangeable between all consoles. The 1.0 Infinity Base will work just fine with the 3.0 software. PlayStation and Wii Infinity Bases are interchangeable between consoles. Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Nintendo 3DS Infinity Bases are console specific.

The console versions of Disney Infinity will still be available for download from the Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo Online shops. While all Disney Infinity online services have officially been discontinued you can continue to play the console version of Disney Infinity without these features.
Does Disney Infinity PS3 work on PS4?
If you already have the base from Disney Infinity 1.0, you don’t need to buy it for 2.0 or 3.0, for example, and it is also transmitted between platforms. The PS3 base will work on the PS4 and vice versa. Same for Wii and Wii U.
