Can someone else use my Southwest travel funds?
Can someone else use my travel funds? Travel funds belong to the Passenger named on the ticket, regardless of who purchased it. At this time, travel funds can’t be transferred to another person (sorry, Mom). But Southwest LUV Vouchers can be used by anyone.
Can I use Southwest travel funds for hotel?

How do I redeem a Southwest voucher?
When checking out, under the payment method section there’s a blue link for “Southwest gift card, Travel Funds, or Southwest LUV Voucher”. If you click that then select the Southwest LUV Voucher tab you can enter the voucher number and security code. The security code should be under the voucher number on the voucher.
Can Luv vouchers be extended?
Vouchers generally aren’t extendable. Travel Funds may be reissued, as a voucher, once expired for a fee of $100 per Travel Fund/passenger. You have 6 months after expiration in which to make the request, and the voucher will be valid for 6 months from the date of issue.
