Who is the most powerful Greybeard?
All the ones saying Arngeir is the strongest of them are correct. He is able to speak to you normally because he has full control over his Thu’um, having achieved mastery before the other Greybeards.
What does Paarthurnax say to Arngeir?
He will teach you the second word of the Unrelenting Force shout. Use one of the Shouts on Arngeir, the Shouts cannot hurt them. After speaking to Arngeir, the Dragonborn must demonstrate their newly learned word of power on three spectral forms. Then go to the High Hrothgar Courtyard to learn and demonstrate the Whirlwind Sprint shout.
Can you get the Horn of Jurgen Windcaller back?
After completing the quest, the Dragonborn can return to Ustengrav and activate the altar where the note was to return the horn and receive a free Dragon Soul.
Is Arngeir the weakest or strongest?
He’s actually the strongest, if you ask Ulfric about the Greybeards before you go to High Hrothgar. He’s the weakest of them all actually, which is why he’s able to talk. He’s not become “one with the voice” like the others. That’s why they can only talk in Thu’um, but Arngeir can speak the language of the world.
Why do the Greybeards not speak?
Arngeir can be asked to elaborate on the reason why none of the Greybeards can be engaged in conversation. The reason is that the other Greybeards’ voices are so powerful that even a whisper could kill a man.
