Where can you use National Theatre vouchers?
The National Theatre Gift Voucher can be exchanged for tickets, theatre tours and items sold as part of our online ticket buying process, and can also be used at the Box Office, by phone and in person.
Is the national Theatre in the congestion zone?
There is no drop-off point outside the theatre, however taxis and drivers may deliver passengers behind the theatre on Upper Ground or Belvedere Road. The National falls within London’s Congestion Charge Zone, which incurs a daily cost of £11.50 between 7am and 6pm. Travel outside of these hours is free.
Where is the national Theatre stage door?
The main entrance to the National Theatre is on the river side of the building and has automatic sliding glass doors. It is the entrance for the Olivier Theatre and Lyttelton Theatre, and also the main Box Office, Bookshop, Kitchen restaurant, ground floor bar and spacious foyer facilities.

We are unable to accept Theatre Tokens as a form of payment on TodayTix – they are only redeemable via Society of London Theatre and UK Theatre venues.
Is the congestion charge zone expanding?
The ULEZ runs alongside the Congestion Charge zone, which is in central London and costs £15 a day. This zone is not being expanded.

Seats at the rear of the auditorium are raked for a good view, but it may be worth choosing seats in the front of the Circle for a similar price. The Lyttelton Café and Long Bar can be accessed step-free on this level. The Espresso Bar is 3 steps up from the foyer.

Row J is recommended as the best row. The section is well-raked and ensures that audience members in front will not obstruct the view. The first three rows do not have armrests and are not as comfortable as other rows, which means they are often sold at a discounted price.
