They are manufactured in Taiwan in a factory certified to ISO 14001 in Environmental Management Systems. The factory has implemented a number of environmental initiatives to reduce their environmental impact.
Are Detpak coffee cups compostable?
Can I recycle I am eco™ hot cups? I am eco™ hot cups are compostable with a PLA lining, this means they require industrial composting facilities in order to break down. The biofilm lining mean the cups are not suitable for recycling.
Is Detpak biodegradable?
A biodegradable and compostable material, Detpak uses moulded bagasse sugarcane pulp to make packaging items including eco plates, bowls and boxes, which are very sturdy and have great thermal properties. It is renewable, recyclable, compostable and biodegradable.
