To use the SharpStone Pollen Press, simply collect your pollen, remove one pin and put your pollen in the middle. Once in the SharpStone Pollen Press, place the removed pin back in the press and screw the lid closed. For best results, let sit overnight allowing pollen to ferment together and form a hard cake.

As the caps are screwed back on, the pins squash the kief together, creating a kind of hash pellet in the center of the pollen press. At this point, you will want to leave the pollen in the press for at least 8 hours but no more than a couple of days or it will get too hard to remove from the pollen press.

You can screw the ends with your hand, tightening it every hour to compress the crystals as much as possible. Let your grounded material sit in the press for 8 hours (you can tighten it every hour), allowing the kief to come together as a disc or pellet.
