How good are Mystery Ranch Backpacks?
The Mystery Ranch Sphinx 60 is a great all-around pack. It feels great on the back, has some great features, and feels like a pack is supposed to feel. With that said, it comes with a fairly high price tag. This is a great overall pack and we were pleasantly surprised by the comfort whe is wasn’t loaded too heavy.
Is Mystery Ranch a good brand?
An affordable, well-made pack. Mystery Ranch has a reputation for making some of the best bags on market. While many of Mystery Ranch’s packs (including those in the Kletterwerks line) are made in Montana, the brand also produces a variety of bags, which retail for a lower price-point, overseas.

How do you fit a Mystery Ranch?
Should I size up or size down? We recommend sizing down if you are between sizes. It is very important that the waist belt is able to securely tighten around your hips. If your waist belt is too big you will have a hard time getting the weight in your pack to transfer from your shoulders to your hips.

Where is mystery ranch located?
Mystery Ranch has two warehouse locations in the United States; one in Montana and one in Washington. Our Military packs ship from our warehouse in Montana. Our Wildland Fire, Mountain, Hunting, and Everyday Carry packs ship from our warehouse in Washington.
