Where did the lucky six chimpanzees come from?

WELCOME TO THE LUCKY SIX! We are overjoyed to welcome six more chimpanzees to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary Northwest. This social group of six came from the now-closed Wildlife Waystation outside of Los Angeles and arrived on June 26th.

Are there any chimpanzees left at Wildlife WayStation?

With Honey B, Willy B, and Mave’s rescue in 2019, we now are caring for nine chimpanzees from Wildlife Waystation. There are still 26 chimpanzees remaining who will be going to other accredited sanctuaries.
