What to do if your Honda CD player is not working?
Check the metal strip inside the fuse. If it is broken or burned, then replace the fuse with a new fuse of the same amperage. If your CD player still does not power on, then the CD player unit has malfunctioned and needs to be replaced. Insert a CD into the Honda CD player. If the CD skips or has trouble playing, eject the CD.

First, locate the DVD drive (for the Pilot it’s under the passenger seat, in the Accord it’s mounted in the center of the trunk area). Is the system getting power when the key is in the “on” position? Ours was, so then I ejected the disc to see what else I could find.
