Why does my Honda Jazz shudder when pulling away?
I’ve got a Honda Jazz, which has done about 35k miles in 5 years. It’s an automatic and I think it’s the 1.4 SE version. I’m not sure how long it has been doing this for, however when pulling away from stationary in traffic for example, the car tends to audibly vibrate/shudder for a few seconds.
When did the Honda Jazz automatic come out?
It is an automatic purchased new in September 2003, with 33,000 on the clock. It is driven mainly around town and monthly on a motorway 200 mile round trip. It has been serviced regularly by the same Honda garage it was purchased from.
Is there a problem with the Honda Jazz?
Just spoken to the service manager at local garage (where we purchased the jazz) and he admitted that there was a known problem with oil seals in the G/B which if it is that problem then the work is done under good will by Honda. Car booked in for first week in August for investigation.
What causes Honda Jazz engine to vibrate when taking off?
The shudder when taking off is likely the CVT start clutch, was very common on these. Thanks for the reply guys, CVT is fine from Honda service. Ultratune just does the servicing but not the troubleshooting.. (at least they were honest saying ‘i dont know..’
