Does FriXion pen fade over time?
All of the products in the current Frixion pen range has an excellent track record for their ink standing the test of time and not fading so you can rest assured that you should not have any issues moving forward with your ink.
Does FriXion pens become permanent?
The FriXion pens do not contain permanent ink as it reacts to heat and becomes transparent. On clothing, you only have to wash it according to the recommendation on the label. As a tip and trick, if the fabric can be heated at least to 60°C, just use an iron on the ink mark !
Are FriXion pens worth it?
They write quite smoothly, without sticking or skipping like a large ballpoint. The lines are dark, crisp, and fine (although the black was not quite as dark as a Uni-Ball Signo, Vision or Pilot G2). FriXion packaging lists the tip as 0.7mm, and it writes like most other “fine” pens I’ve used.
Why do FriXion pens run out of ink so fast?
If your pen appears to have run out of ink, it could be that it was exposed to heat at some point. The ink is heat sensitive. Sometimes popping it into the freezer for an hour and then scribbling will get the ink to flow again!
How do you get FriXion ink to reappear?
Write a secret message on a piece of paper. FriXion it! with the «eraser» on the end of the pen. Send it to your friend and ask him to put in the freezer for a few minutes. The ink will reappear at temperatures under -10°C and your friend will be able to read your secret message!

Do all FriXion pens work on rocketbook?

All you have to do to restore your pen (if the ink isn’t depleted) is put your FriXion pen on ice for 2-5 minutes. Why it works: The secret is in FriXion’s ink formula. The ink reacts to strong temperature changes. If the ink is hot, it disappears.
Do all FriXion pens work with rocketbook?

At what temperature do FriXion pens erase?

The friction pen uses ink that is sensitive to heat. At temperatures that range between 15°F and 140°F, the ink will appear black when writing on paper. But when local temperature exceeds 140°F, like when held near a heat source or when friction is concentrated on a certain spot, the ink becomes clear.
