Germinating the Seeds
- Fill a seed-raising tray with moist, sterile potting soil, up to 3/4 inch from the top.
- Sprinkle the escarole seeds over the soil surface.
- Fill a spray bottle with water and mist the soil with it.
- Place the tray in a warm room.
- Thin the seedlings when they are 1 inch tall.
