How long does it take to walk through Red Butte Gardens?
Walking very leisurely, you could spend 3 to 4 hours meandering through the various gardens. The garden is across the street from the Museum of Natural History if you wanted to spend an entire day in this area. The museum is open on Wednesdays until 9 p.m., so you could go back and forth between the two locations.
Can you eat at Red Butte Garden?
We brought a lunch and they allowed us to bring in the food and drinks and eat inside the garden. We had a nice time eating our lunch in the main plaza at a table with shade. There is a large expansion project happening that does not affect your visit but will make it even better in the future.
