1. jack up car using a jack and jack stands. 3. remove clips that hold splash shield in place and pull out of the way. 5.take a 10 or 12mm socket and remove the center nut on compressor pulley. slide out clutch and be sure not to lose the spacers.

Googling the clutch problem would show you that Honda probably wouldn’t pay for a replacement clutch on a 08 plate.You’d probably be looking at over £1000 to rectify.Theres also plenty of reports of discs and pads wearing quick. GF had a Civic 2.2 CDTi for 4 years from new. Really nice car – very practical, fast and ~55mpg.

Any ideas what that can be? 2.2icdti type s 2009, 121k milage, I’d think it’s original clutch. My clutch acts weirdly at the moment, too. If you boot the car on the motorway and then you have to get off to the slip road and stop at the lights.
