How do you replace a headlight in a Lexus?
The owner’s manual provides information on replacing the headlight high beams and the front parking lights, but for the low beam headlights, it says to “contact your Lexus dealer.” Is it really that hard to replace this bulb? (i.e. taking off the front bumper and the entire headlight assembly).
How do you replace a low beam headlight?
Just press on one of them and slide it out of the hold position. Same for the other. The bulb should come right off. Next just install the new bulb and do all the steps again but backwards. If you also change the other (driver side), you can remove (not a must but it helps a lot) the washer fluid tube using the same 10mm socket.
Why does my low beam light go out?
I have a 2007 IS250. The driver side low beam light “appears” to be out. I say “appears” because when I first turn on the lights, it turns on for a brief second, then goes out. So my questions are – is this a bulb problem? Also, how do you replace this bulb?
