Why does my dome lamp and radio not work?
On the odd chance that the dome lamp and radio have coincidental failures not related to Fuse 12, check some of those other circuits in the last diagram I sent. If glove box, power mirrors, lighted mirrors (in visors), underhood lamp and truck bed lamp work (or any combination of those), it shows the circuit to be powered as it leaves the JB.
Why is there no AM radio in my car?
I think there is something in the car (other than the defroster) that is generating a signal that is killing the AM signal, but I’m not sure what it is. Just for the heck of it, though, I may unplug the factory antenna and plug in another one and see what happens.
