How do you use AquaChek 7 strips?
Directions
- Dip a strip into water and remove immediately.
- Hold strip level for 15 seconds (do not shake excess water from strip).
- Compare Total Hardness, Total Chlorine, Total Bromine, Free Chlorine, pH, Total Alkalinity and Cyanuric Acid pads (in that order) to the color chart on label.

Can you reuse pool test strips?
Keep wet fingers out of the bottle and store test strips in a cool, dry place. Test strips are not reusable.
Do AquaChek test strips expire?
A: Most AquaChek products are good for at least 24 months from the date of manufacture. We can not guarantee the accuracy of the test strips beyond the expiration date on the bottle and therefore recommend replacement for out-of-date strips. Storage in high heat or humid conditions will shorten expected shelf life.
Why is my pH yellow?
pH Readings If you get a yellow result, you have a low pH or acidic water. If the color is a deep purple, your pH is too high. Once again, you’ll need to compare your results with the color chart provided with the test kit to get an accurate reading.
